Mr. Al Waterson

Dear AL;

Thank you for being our master of ceremonies at the Retiree Reunion last Friday. You're such a professional, and you elevated the event more than we expected.  The only regret I have is that you didn't sing more songs. You have a beautiful voice and a smooth style. We look forward to working with you again.

Mahalo for doing a great job!

Dear Mr. Waterson:

The days since the inauguration have been filled with many challenges and difficult  decisions. We have been assembling a team which will streamline government operations and which will be fair to all while making it more accessible to Hawaii's citizens. We welcome this new year and look forward to the challenges ahead.  We appreciate and applaud all of your efforts to help us launch our new administration. Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to help us create a successful inaugural celebration. It was truly the beginning of a new partnership that Lieutenant Governor Hirono and I want to build with all segments of our island community.

We again thank you and look forward to working with you in the future.

     Very Truly Yours,

    Benjamin J. Cayetano
    Governor of Hawaii

    Mazie K. Hirono

Dear AL,

Thank you so much for helping with our Annual Meeting this year. You are a pleasure to work with and the night went off without a hitch thanks to your experience and professionalism. From your smooth transitions to comical relief, we all enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you very much for continuing to be part of the Hawaii Schools FCU family.

Mahalo nui loa and we look forward to working with you again!

 Mr. Al Waterson

 Dear AL,

"Sensational!" - that's what everyone has been saying about the performance you gave at our annual gala Singin' in the Rain at the Kahala Hotel & Resort last Saturday.  Your performance was just the right note for our crowd - very polished but not disruptive to our guests' favorite activity - visiting among themselves! The energy in the ballroom was high all evening and our guests really seemed to be having a great time. As emcee you did a wonderful job of keeping the evening on track and on time. I don't think that's never happened before in the history of HTC galas!

We're still tallying expenses, but it looks as though the results may be even better than we had hoped. There's a good chance we could pass the $250,000 mark - and that simply would not have been possible without your very generous donation of time and talent.  Thanks in large part to your efforts, Hawaii Theatre Center will be able to continue to bring first-rate performers to Hawaii from the mainland and overseas, reach thousands of students with our educational programs, offer technical assistance and reduced rental rates to non-profit groups, and ensure that Hawaiian music and dance always have a spotlight in Honolulu.

We feel very fortunate that you so cheerfully stepped up to the plate to provide the entertainment for our gala. Please accept, on behalf of the Hawaii Theatre Center board and staff, our heartfelt thanks for a job superbly well done.

    Mahalo nui loa!
    With warm aloha,

Dear Al,

Thank you very much for your generous assistance in making the St. Louis Distinguished Achievers Award dinner so successful. Alison’s rendition of “Fame” and Dawe’s interpretation of “Footloose” added that special elegance to the program. Dean Pitchford was impressed with their performances. Please pass on our Aloha to Alison and Dawe.

From the St. Louis family, a great big Mahalo.

Thank You,

Frank Lock

Mr. Al Waterson

Dear AI,

On behalf of Straub Clinic & Hospital, an affiliate of Hawaii Pacific Health, I would like to  express our sincere appreciation to you and Nancy for your help at "Breathe with Ease into the New Year," on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Straub Clinic & Hospital Cafeteria.  AI, your participation in the program, contributed to the overall success of the event. You made it possible for us to increase the community's awareness of asthma/allergy while offering health tips and masks for coping with fireworks smoke.  I enjoyed having you at "Breathe with Ease into the New Year", and want to thank you for doing such an excellent job at engaging the audience with your Emcee skills and impromptu songs. You kept the program flowing with a healthy dose of education and enjoyable entertainment.   This year we distributed more than 400 respirators the event help people with asthma or allergy problems cope with the New Year's fireworks smoke.   Thank you again for your contribution to the success of this event! I look forward to future opportunities to work with you and Nancy.

May you have a safe and successful 2009!
